Originally on the path to dental school, I spent my college years studying all things organic chemistry and biology. While I loved the challenge, I needed a creative outlet and started a fashion and lifestyle blog. This quickly turned into working with dream clients such as Teen Vogue, Madewell, and H-E-B. My natural talent for building relationships between people and brands inspired me to leave the dental school path behind in exchange for digital storytelling.
Fast forward a few years, I had been taught by some of the best on how to build engaged communities at companies like Google, Sony Music Entertainment, and Whole Foods Market. As it turned out, my science-focused background was a strength, with my strategic and analytical side complementing my creative and people-oriented side.
After graduation, I started working full-time with billion dollar brand Kendra Scott while using my corporate experience to support small businesses on the side. There, I grew and managed high volume social media channels, and was involved with experiential events, influencer marketing, and content creation with the founder. Since leaving Kendra Scott, I’ve been able to partner with small businesses like Lick Honest Ice Creams and Patika Coffee even more, while also working on large scale campaigns for Verizon and Uber Eats. While the specifics of my work vary every day, my heart is committed to the combination of creativity, community, and entrepreneurship.
